Second for Kathrin Schweinberger at SPAR Flanders Diamond Tour

Kathrin continues her strong results in Belgium with a trip to the podium.

Schweinberger thanked her teammates at the finish, "I really wanted to win for the team today, so second place hurts a little bit. But I have to thank Marta (Lach), Lin (Teutenberg) and Lana (Eberle) because they did an outstanding job and made this podium possible."

CERATIZIT-WNT DS, Steffen Radochla was also pleased with the teamwork on display, "It was more or less sure to come down to a bunch sprint so the goal was to work for Kathrin. All of the girls did a great job. Lana's task was to try to be there for the last lap and bring the team onto the cobbles in a good position, which she did. Marta pulled for the last kilometre until the final leadout and then handed over to Mylene. Kathrin made no mistakes today so I think there are more results to come."
