Silver medal for Marta Lach in the Polish Time Trial National Championships

Marta Lach takes the teams first medal of the national championships week, with a silver medal in the time trial.

Marta Lach finishes 2nd in the time trial national championships in Poland in a close fought battle for the gold medal and national title. 

The 23km time trial which started and finished in Leoncin, saw an extremely close battle, with only 0.14 of a second separating eventual winner, Agnieszka Skalniak - Sokja with a time of 29:56:27 and and Marta Lach who took silver with a time of 29:56:42

After the race Marta said "2nd place, I'm a bit sad and angry, but I'm also happy because it's my first ever time trial medal, first ever on the podium in the time trial nationals, it's nice. The 0.14, I don't feel like I lose, but I lost, I don't have the jersey. I have to be happy with my performance, hopefully I still have a long career ahead of me and I can stand on the top step of the podium one day. I believe in that, and I gave my best today. Natalia and Steffen really took care of me, we had a good day."
