Tour de l’Ardeche stage winner signs for 2019


Erica Magnaldi, the strong Italian climber signs up for the upcoming season adding more firepower to an already exciting year ahead. Magnaldi finished her stellar season with a top twenty finish at the World Road Race Championships in Innsbruck, Austria.


The 2018 season has been a standout one for 26-year-old Magnaldi, winning stage seven of Tour de l’Ardeche, finishing 4th Overall at Tour of California and 5th Overall at Tour De Yorkshire. The consistency shown throughout the year shows what an exciting prospect Magnaldi will be next year.


Claude Sun, Cutting Tools Europe managing director, welcomed Erica to the team saying; “Erica has shown her talent and promise throughout the season, and we kept a close eye on her, we are really excited about working together next year.”


Erica added “It’s an exciting new prospect for me to join the team, I’m looking forward to a new environment, and working alongside a standout group of riders.”


Magnaldi who finished 13th overall at the Giro Rosa will bring another style of racing to an already diverse and sensational team roster, joining Lisa Brennauer, Kirsten Wild, Ane Santesteban, Aafke Soet, Lin Teutenberg, Clara Koppenburg, Laura Asencio, Anna Badegruber, Kathrin Hammes, Gabrielle Pilote Fortin and Sarah Rijkes.
